THE INFLUENCE OF BOOKLET ON INCREASING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ANEMA IN PREGNANT WOMEN AT THE TERMNAL PUBLIC HEALTH IN 2025

The incident of anemia worldwie is in the top three with a prevalence rate in pregnant women reaching 74%. In 2024, the Terminal Health Center ranked 10th out of 28 Health Centers in Banjarmasin with the highest anemia rate. There were 13,1% or 62 pregnant women with anemia from 2023 to 2024, amounting to 10,7%. This indicated a lack of maternal knowledge about anemia, as the educational media currently implemented by the Health Center are still not fully effective in increasing the knowledeg of pregnant women. Therefore, trengthening through the se of more structured and easily understood educational media is needed.among mothers regardign the symptoms, causes and prevention of anemia. To analyze the influence of the use of booklets on knowledge about anemia in pregnant women in the working area of the Terminal Health Center. This study was a pre-experimental study with a one group pre-post test desgin. The sampling technique used was a totally sample of 34 pregnant women with anemia. Data analysis used the willcoxon Signed Rank Test with a significance value of 0,05. There was diffeence in the average knowledge of pregnant women about anemia, the average before the intervention was 13,09, then after the intervention the average increased to 17,50. The results of the wilcoxon test showed that there was an effect of the booklets on increasing the knowledge of pregnant women about anemia with a p value of 0,000. There was an influence of the booklet on increasing knowledge about anemia in pregnant women at the Terminal Public Health in 2025
